New Dates Coming Soon

Meaningful culinary experiences that unearth & celebrate our commonalities & highlight the bounty of our incredible farm-to-fork region.

Our Story

We have always believed that sharing a thoughtful well-executed meal is something to celebrate; especially in the speed of regular life. In 2011 we bought this 1944 Roosevelt cottage and fell in love with our Fair Oaks community and neighbors. In 2015 we started an annual fall neighbor dinner.

Our vision for a supper club has taken form over these past few years and begun to take form as we commissioned a purpose-built table in Spring 2020 - a twelve foot long, 120 year old horse barn door table salvaged from a site in Woodland to be used amongst our garden.

We enjoy cooking seasonally, fermenting and pickling as often as possible, traveling, and being ardent students of history, culture, and the multi-generational communities and stories that we live in.

Who is eligible to attend a Supper?

Our Suppers are open to anyone over 21 years old.

In the future, we aim to offer early access to purchase tickets to our email subscribers.

We’d love to share our purpose with you.

En Plein Air - Supper Club, began with a desire to bring people around a large outdoor table filled with local high quality ingredients, great wine and endless conversation. We want to share our love of seasonal ingredients and friendships with local farmers we’ve developed over years.

We want to foster a discovery of the beauty in our region and highlight the extraordinary and allow ourselves to be inspired both the ingredients and our guests.

We aim to find common ground that connects us all and coax what makes us feel alive, as well as provide some fantastic dinners and amazing evenings.

Ethos

  • Respect ingredients and the people who produced them.

  • Cook 100% what is in season, no exceptions.

  • Visit the farmers’ market at least once a week, and use most of your food budget at the market.

  • Buy the best you can afford.

  • Source only locally grown and 100% organic seasonal produce. California grass-fed and finished beef. Source only environmentally responsible seafood that is hemispheric and seasonally relevant and abides and supports the Monterey Bay Aquarium Seafood watch list.

  • Do as little as possible to an ingredient when it’s at its peak.

incredibly imaginative, fresh, and flavorful and the drinks served perfectly complimented each course. But it was so much more than the food and drinks; the group of diners that we shared this magical evening with truly made it a memorable experience.
